Role is hybrid with circa 2-3 days per week in Charlotte office

Elite Search are currently working exclusively with a rapidly growing global business who have a number of exciting opportunities within their Procurement team as part of their continued expansion.

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to work across multiple sectors and in a diverse range of spend areas. You will operate in a fast-paced role, and you will have previous experience of savings delivery within a high spend environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with key stakeholders and analyze data to create category management approaches that deliver against needs and expectations.
• Advise and agree with clients on the procurement strategy for high spend categories.
• Deliver measurable savings through hands on category management including undertaking tenders, negotiations and auctions on behalf of clients.
• Provide the enquiry, insight and creative thought needed to deliver a step change in supply chain performance.
• Use of leading-edge tools and processes and creative thinking to design solutions which deliver rapid cost savings and improvements in performance.
• Sourcing suppliers from the US and Worldwide to meet needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years’ procurement experience in a major USA or international company.
• A breadth of category management, moving successfully and quickly between direct and indirect product and service categories.
• Positive and proactive attitude, confident in taking personal initiative.
• Good negotiation skills and natural persuasion.
• Good understanding of supply chain and procurement practices.
