Job Description

Our client, located in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to assist with transactional buying activities within a centralized e-Procurement environment, ensuring the effectiveness of the source-to-pay process and systems.

This is a full-time, on-site, temporary position.

Schedule: Monday through Friday.

Pay rate: $50 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Support the review and approval of high value procurement transactions initiated by multiple departments.
• Assist with reviewing, evaluating, and approving/escalating, modifying, and/or closing purchase requisitions in Peoplesoft.
• Resolve supplier, procurement, and fulfillment issues as necessary via ServiceNow.
• Help support requests for information and requests for proposals.

Qualifications:

• 10 years+ of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft, the Jaggaer portfolio, and MS Office Suite required .
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation or Uniform Guidance preferred .
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to prioritize workload while meeting multiple requests and deadlines in a consistent and timely manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
