About HerBasira 

Basira is building the core logic layer for personalized female nutrition, replicating how elite nutritionists reason, then scaling it using your body’s real-time signals. We integrate data from wearables like Apple Health, Oura, and menstrual cycle tracking to deliver food recommendations that are precise, biologically timed, and deeply personal.

We’re not building another wellness tracker. We’re building the biological operating system for women’s health, using real-time machine learning, physiology-aware intelligence, and a feedback loop powered by behavior, hormones, and biomarkers.

We’re in product development now and preparing to raise our first investment round in the coming months. This is a defining time and we’re looking for someone ambitious enough to be part of it.

The Internship

You’ll be the first (and only) designer in the room, working daily with the founders and engineers. You’ll ship real product, craft our first design system in Figma, and prove that complex, data-heavy logic can feel invisible and effortless.

Duration: ~12 weeks, full-time, Summer 2025

Compensation: This summer term is unpaid; if we click, you convert into a paid, equity-backed founding Product Designer.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end design: from whiteboard idea to polished Figma and live UI (mobile-first).
• Elevate a tiny set of core features until they feel “invisible” in daily use.
• Translate hormones, biometrics, and ML outputs into flows that require zero explanation.
• Build a reusable component library so devs can drop your work straight into code.
• Prototype fast, test with real users weekly, and iterate ruthlessly.
• Extend the visual language across onboarding, growth, and marketing.

You Might Be the One If…

• You’ve already shipped at least one full product and owned the design end-to-end.
• Figma is your power tool: components, variants, auto-layout, figjam for rapid exploration.
• Portfolio (link preferred, PDF okay) shows you thrive on complex, data-heavy problems.
• You love polishing tiny details until the UI disappears for the user.
• You’re passionate about biohacking / health-tech and already apply it in your own life.
• Bonus sparkle: Master’s in Design/HCI, prior work on invisible UX patterns, or hardcore systems thinking.
