Position: Programming & Deployment Specialist (San Jose) Location: San Jose, CA Job Id: 117 # of Openings: 0 Entry Level Must be able to achieve the objectives of this position with minimal supervision. Experience Level Consistently meets all objectives of the role. Provides mentorship and supervision to Level 1 staff on a daily basis. Lead Level Highly experienced with a comprehensive understanding of system installations and maintenance. Capable of leading complex projects and mentoring team members, providing supervision as needed. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Developing Controls Programs, Systems Databases, and Graphical Interfaces for BAS systems. Testing control programs. Documenting system compliance with design specifications. Providing control drawings to engineering/drafting teams. Providing testing documentation to clients. Identifying and resolving project issues. Coordinating with subcontractors or internal teams to optimize installation value. Supporting operations beyond controls or special systems issues. Communicating effectively with team members to ensure accuracy and productivity. Supporting ongoing service engineering and maintenance of existing systems. Reviewing submittals for adherence to scope, budget, and standards. Performing other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma required; technical degree in Electronics preferred; degree in Electrical or Construction Management is a plus. Technical experience through military, training, or on-the-job learning is acceptable. Understanding of basic computer systems and control logic configuration. Experience with control systems like Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Distech, Tridium, or Alerton is advantageous. Basic BAS programming experience preferred. Ability to work with electronic testing equipment and troubleshoot electrical circuits. Knowledge of AC power circuitry (120VAC and above). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Empathy and problem-solving skills to address customer and team issues effectively. Essential Functions: Physical ability to lift, carry, climb, and work on construction sites.
