\nThe Project Engineer 2 serves as the crucial link between the project manager, manufacturing, and the technical disciplines involved in a project. This role requires a thorough understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering principles. \nJob Responsibilities\n Essential Job Functions : These represent the fundamental duties and accountabilities of the position. Additional duties may be assigned consistent with the professional scope of the job.\n\nLeads Project Engineers in Preliminary Product Draft, Design, and Design Evaluation (40%)\n\n

\n\t
• Ensure Project Engineer 1 is properly utilizing CAD equipment and software such as AutoCAD and Revit for developing designs, layouts, and renderings.\n\t
• Lead internal HVAC design, including ductwork and piping.\n\t
• Review and redline EOR and vendor shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and coordination in both 2D and 3D forms.\n\t
• Assist Project Engineer 1 in detailing custom configurations and drafting finished designs from sketches.\n\t
• Prepare material take-offs and lead reviews with Manufacturing Leads and the Project Manager.\n\t
• Frequently review plan set markups based on as-built conditions.\n\t
• Maintain an organized file system for production drawings and uphold revision practices.\n\t
• Assist in training and mentoring Project Engineer 1.\n

\n\nContributes to the Design and Engineering of PODs® (40%)\n\n

\n\t
• Lead collaboration with internal and external engineering resources to complete POD design:\n\t \n\t \n\t\n\t
• Assist PM in developing EOR and vendor scope of work.\n\t
• Lead design reviews with EOR, vendors, Project Manager, and Manufacturing.\n\t
• Review and redline drawings and submittals.\n\t
• Participate in daily or weekly status update calls to close action items.\n\t
• Review EOR or Project Engineer 1 meeting minutes for accuracy and issue them with clearly defined action items.\n

• Maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.\n\t
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure project execution on time and on budget.\n\t
• Communicate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Manufacturing regarding new and revised prints.\n\tSupports Other Groups (20%)\n\n\t \n\t\t
• Assist in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures.\n\t\t
• Assist in the execution of Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing protocols.\n\t

• Familiarity with engineering principles\n\t\t
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit\n\t\t

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects\n\t
