Client Overview:

With one of the industry’s best reputations and a consistent pipeline of projects across the Midwest, this Heavy Civil General Contractor is looking for a Project Engineer to join their Central IL team. If you have 1-5 years of heavy civil construction experience, want to work for a top Midwest company and tackle projects ranging from $3M to over $30M, then apply below.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in bridge work/infrastructure/heavy highway/excavation projects
• Submittal Review and Processing
• Request for Information Processing
• Requesting Change Order Information from Subcontractors
• Drawing Documentation
• Processing Meeting Minutes
• Pre-Construction Preparation of Scopes

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-5 years construction experience in the heavy civil sector
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 or higher certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Construction Science, or related field preferred but not required.
• Bridge, paving, asphalt, excavation, utilities, or sewer experience required
• Communicates well with Project Managers, Subcontractors, Engineers, Architects, etc.

Job Offer:

• $65,000-$90,000 base salary
