Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Overview:
The Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine will guide a team of board-certified specialists at our organization, managing advanced clinical initiatives and both inpatient and outpatient services. This position encompasses strategic leadership, faculty development, quality enhancement, and promoting academic and community involvement, all while prioritizing equity and high-quality healthcare. This influential role requires clinical proficiency, experience in program development, and a dedication to serving a diverse patient demographic within a large municipal health system.
We are excited to announce an opening for a Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine to join our committed team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . This leading facility handles over 325,000 outpatient visits, 100,000 emergency room visits, and 20,000 inpatient admissions each year, catering to a diverse community with various healthcare needs.
Jacobi Medical Center has robust academic partnerships with both Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the CUNY School of Medicine , providing an enriching environment for education and professional development. Compensation and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $342,000* based on a 40-hour work week.
The total estimated annual compensation package is approximately $416,200**, which encompasses the base salary, 401(k) contributions, and other factors outlined below:
