Salary: Jr - 110K/annum, Mid-level - 125K/annum, Sr. - 140K/annum
What you'll do:
● Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
● Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
● Mentor other engineers, support the technological culture, and help grow the team
● Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals
● Communicate with project leads, product managers, and other software developers
● Participating in code and design reviews
● Becoming domain experts on aspects of the payment processing industry
What you'll need:
● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
● 8+ years of programming experience in Python.
● Hands-on experience with self-testing code (unit tests) and building systems.
● Emerging ability to lead and influence a team's technical direction
● Hands-on experience with database and cloud technologies
● Emerging ability to design resilient software components within a distributed system.
● Our core stack is Python, migrating from system software in C, and legacy PHP in some places; as part of our move to the cloud, we're running Kubernetes, and AWS technologies like EKS/Lambda/RDS/Aurora/Dynamo
