Position Details Job Title: Quinlan School of Business, Part Time - Adjunct in Marketing Job Category: University Faculty Job Type: Part-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Campus: Chicago-Water Tower Campus Department Name: SCHOOL OF BUSINESS Duties and Responsibilities The Department of Marketing in the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a part-time instructor in Marketing. Teaching needs can vary from term to term and can arise at any time. For this reason, review of applications will be ongoing and continue until all needs are filled. Candidates should resubmit their materials every year to ensure they are in the most recent candidate pool. Expectations include a strong understanding of and commitment to the university’s mission. We seek scholars who can support the current undergraduate and graduate marketing curriculum (Marketing majors and minors, MS Marketing, and MBA). The initial teaching load is one or more undergraduate or graduate courses per term (in person, hybrid, or online as needed). Specific course assignments may include, but are not limited to, analytics, consumer behavior and insights, business communications, marketing strategy, sustainability and marketing, and multicultural marketing. Qualifications Candidates must have a minimum of an earned master's in marketing or a related field, and significant work experience related to the field of interest. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Qualified applicants should also demonstrate teaching effectiveness and innovative approaches to marketing education.
