Radiographer - Indiana (#R10123)

Location:  Various locations across Indiana, including Evansville Psychiatric Children's Center, Evansville State Hospital, Logansport State Hospital, Madison State Hospital, Richmond State Hospital, and the Indianapolis Neurodiagnostic Institute.

Hourly Rate:  $34.00

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Licensure: Valid ARRT certification and Indiana state radiologic licensure; EKG certification (e.g., CCI or NHA) preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in radiography and EKG procedures; hospital experience ideal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating X-ray/EKG equipment, image processing, and equipment maintenance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong patient communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for X-rays/EKGs, addressing special needs and ensuring safety protocols. 
  • Operate and maintain radiologic/EKG equipment; troubleshoot or coordinate repairs.
  • Evaluate image quality, retake studies as needed, and deliver results to physicians.
  • Manage X-ray film library, patient records, and departmental supply inventory.
  • Conduct EKGs, interpret tracings, and communicate findings to medical staff.
  • Track diagnostic statistics and provide performance improvement data to leadership.
  • Mentor staff or supervise workflows as required.
