Registered Nurse - Breast Navigator and Accreditation Coordinator - Cancer Center Screen - Days

Scan documents as required. Obtain outside reports. Assist nurse practitioner to manage patient schedule and day. Document patient information in EMR. Perform navigation duties. Ensure that compliance is maintained for NAPBC and CoC accreditation.\n\nEssential Job Duties\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\n* Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the NAPBC accreditation standards and any other regulatory requirements. The position leads the survey prep at the facility, facilitates meeting schedule, agenda and minutes. Must maintain all documentation for the compliance of all program standards. Is the liaison with the Director and multidisciplinary team members to ensure the programs' success.\n\n\n* Responsible for quality improvement initiatives, including the monitoring, collection, analysis and reporting of data, including any auditing to ensure standards compliance.\n\n\n* Coordinates all NAPBC Committee meetings. Is responsible for the agenda, meeting minutes. Works closely with the CoC Accreditation Manager.\n\n\n* Responsible for assisting with bi-monthly Tumor Board preparation in conjunction with the CoC Accreditation Manager and for collecting data and preparing case summaries to be presented at Tumor Board. Required to attend Tumor Board meetings.\n\n\n* Maintains up to date knowledge of the NAPBC standards and communicates effectively and appropriately of changes in a timely manner. Responsible for overseeing the annual review/revisions of all protocols/process/policy and procedures that fall under the NAPBC accreditation.\n\n\n* Coordinates community outreach as a representative of the Dauphin Women's Center. Provides coverage for Breast Navigator as needed.\n\n\n\nRequired Education and Experience\n\nGraduate of an accredited nursing program\n\nBachelor 's Degree Required\n\nBackground in women's imaging preferred\n\nRequired License/Certifications\n\nCurrent Texas RN License and Navigation Certification within one year of hire\n\n
