Job Description

This role will be with an entrepreneurial global healthcare company dedicated to the research and development, manufacturing and distribution of high-quality medical devices that support best clinical practice while protecting healthcare workers and their patients from the risks associated with needlestick injury.

The company sells a broad range of medical products such as needles, syringes and blood collection devices to hospitals, animal health groups, medical supply companies, government health departments and scientific research facilities in 40 countries around the world. We operate facilities in twelve countries, including R&D hubs in Switzerland and China.

Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Administrator to support and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem, drive adoption, and empower our commercial teams. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong business process understanding, and a passion for user engagement.

This role will primarily focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud management, reporting and dashboard optimization, user support, and the expansion of advanced Salesforce functionalities, including Einstein AI, MuleSoft integrations, and Voice Cloud solutions. The position will be based in Chicago, IL with a hybrid in-office work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-user training sessions, create user guides, and lead internal communication efforts to drive system adoption.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and configure enhancements to optimize workflows.
  • Monitor and manage integration points with MuleSoft, Voice Cloud, and related systems.
  • Leverage Einstein AI capabilities to improve forecasting, insights, and user productivity.
  • Partner with technical teams for advanced development work — basic development skills (e.g., flows, validation rules, formula fields, basic Apex/Lightning configuration) are a plus but not a requirement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud setup and management.
  • Expertise in reporting, dashboard creation, and system optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Einstein AI (or similar Salesforce Analytics tools).
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft integrations and Voice Cloud solutions.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security models, data architecture, and best practices.
  • Experience in change management, release management, and user adoption support preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with basic Salesforce declarative development: flows, validation rules, formula fields.
  • Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Components, or Visualforce is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple initiatives.
