Salesforce Developer (Level III, Senior)
Position Overview
Our client is embarking on a high-visibility, transformative initiative to retool and replace its application portfolio. This effort aims to integrate suppliers, clients, and employees through Salesforce/Vlocity, MuleSoft, Azure, and multiple other endpoints with real-time and near-real-time interfaces. As part of this strategic initiative, we are looking to hire experienced Salesforce Developers to support this transformation. These positions will focus on collaborating with a team of IT professionals to deliver key Salesforce applications and integrations that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications, enhancements, and new platform capabilities.
- Solution Design: Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs that align with business objectives and comply with standards.
- Scope and Schedule Management: Ensure development activities are aligned with project scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.
- Code and Testing Oversight: Oversee code development and manage unit and performance testing activities.
- End-to-End Development: Manage the development lifecycle from analysis and design through configuration, coding, testing, and deployment, adhering to SDLC processes (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.).
- Testing and Validation: Perform system integration testing, performance testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions perform as expected.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system bugs and defects, ensuring optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Pair Programming: Must be open to working in a pair programming environment.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience developing Salesforce applications.
- Web Service Integrations: Required experience with web service integrations, including both API client and API service endpoint work.
• Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in SOQL, Apex, and VisualForce.
- REST experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing with Lightning frameworks (Aura and LWC).
- 5+ years of experience designing and building applications using object-oriented languages.
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL) and writing queries.
• Platform Expertise:
- Financial Service Cloud or Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) experience is a plus.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developers preferred.
- SDLC Experience: 5+ years of experience working within a professional Software Development Life Cycle methodology (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.).
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a proven ability to design and build technical solutions.
- Teamwork: Experience working within large cross-functional teams and collaborating with various business and technical stakeholders.
- Version Control: Strong experience with git or other versioning control systems.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
