Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking to hire a full-time French Language Interpreter

Bridging Communication:
Facilitate spoken interpretation between school staff, students, and families to ensure clear understanding of academic, behavioral, medical, and logistical information.
Supporting Key School Events and Meetings:
Interpret during a variety of critical interactions, including:
Parent-teacher conferences
IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
Enrollment and registration processes
Disciplinary or counseling sessions
Translating Written Communication:
Translate school documents such as newsletters, announcements, and consent forms to ensure all families are informed and included.
Enhancing Student Support:
Help students navigate classroom expectations and school services, ensuring language is never a barrier to learning and participation.
Collaborating with Staff:
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and school counselors to create an accessible and inclusive educational environment for French-speaking students and families.
