Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Physical Therapist is needed to deliver educationally focused therapy in a K-12 school setting in Liverpool, NY. This full-time, contract position offers a structured schedule of 7.25 hours per day (36.5 hours per week) during the school year, primarily serving students in grades K-2. The role requires providing in-person physical therapy sessions tailored to support each students educational needs and physical development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct educationally oriented physical therapy sessions with a focus on early elementary students (grades K-2)
• Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy goals within the students learning environment
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy plans
• Adhere to school policies and scheduled breaks, including no work during Winter Break (week of Presidents Day) and Spring Break (starting March 30th)
• Follow all regulatory requirements, including NYSED fingerprint clearance

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT); PT Assistants are not eligible for this role
• NYSED fingerprint clearance is mandatory
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or educational setting is preferred
• Ability to engage students in-person to maximize therapy outcomes
• Flexibility to begin work immediately and commit through mid-to-late April

• Liverpool, NY
• Full-time schedule: 7.25 hours per day, 36.5 hours per week
• Contract position covering a leave, starting immediately until approximately April 21 or 22
