As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol - Full Time in Bartow, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related concerns, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly environment within the location.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
