Position Purpose: Works with leadership to identify enterprise application software needs and oversees activities to deliver appropriate business and aligned solutions. Communicates plans, status, and issues to higher management levels. This role is responsible for building resiliency into the Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) infrastructure, including establishing an alternate Disaster Recovery infrastructure, and evaluating new product features of Informatica in the cloud. Assumes primary responsibility for the application administration team regarding job performance. Assists with the budget process concerning system, utility, and application software strategy. Investigates, reviews, and recommends new software tools, application platforms, monitoring, and performance enhancement tools, creating a detailed roadmap for their application. Assesses the need for, facilitates the acquisition of, and maintains an inventory of applications, software, and related tools and processes that assist in application management, including automation. Ensures an effective system performance problem reporting process is followed. Performs application administration activities and oversees team work activities. Ensures the efficient and effective use of application administration activities through the development and monitoring of KPIs. Reports status and recommends continuous improvement measures. Develops training and mentoring activities for the application administration team to develop relevant skills and competencies. Identifies training needs and develops necessary training for other IT and business areas to understand the overall process and their roles in application administration efforts. Acts as a project leader and subject matter expert on multiple and complex projects. Provides oversight into all team activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4–6 years of related experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skills. A Master's Degree is preferred. Technical Skills: Experience with Informatica Administration, including Cloud products Experience with Informatica, Power Center, Power Exchange, and CDC Publisher Experience with AWS EC2 instances Experience with Workload Optimization Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, Capacity Planning, and Performance Tuning Experience with Cloud Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, and Cloud databases (nice to have) Experience with Data Quality, Disaster Recovery, and Automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice to have) Experience with Application Testing and Development Tools Soft Skills: Intermediate knowledge seeking to acquire further expertise Ability to identify basic problems and irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to work independently Strong analytical skills Project management skills High accuracy and attention to detail, even under pressure Excellent judgment and decision-making skills Pay Range: $85,300.00 - $158,100.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and flexible work arrangements (remote, hybrid, field, or office schedules). Actual pay will be adjusted based on skills, experience, education, and other factors. Total compensation may include additional incentives.
