Role Overview

The Senior Art Director on the brand team at Salesforce is responsible for leading the development and execution of creative projects across a wide range of platforms and channels. They lead on internal and external campaigns, developing compelling creative for customer engagement, campaigns, events, brand initiatives, and internal communications. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and executing brand and marketing projects, collaborating with crossfunctional teams, and ensuring brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept and Execution: Leading development and execution of creative concepts for traditional and nontraditional brand creative including events, campaigns, digital, print, film and video.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Working with marketing, creative, production, and other teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.
  • Staying Current: Leveraging cuttingedge tools and technologies, including AI, to optimize workflows and enhance storytelling.
  • Project Ownership: Owning and overseeing multiple campaigns and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained from kickoff to approval by leadership.
  • Setting the bar: Leading highperforming teams to develop original, breakthrough creative and campaigns that serve a global audience. Being handson and leading by example.
  • Presentation and Creative Reviews: Experienced developing and presenting/discussing creative and the narrative/strategy behind the work with a group of creatives and leadership, and comfortable offering and receiving creative feedback in a constructive and open way.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to develop work with a keen eye for details big, medium and small, keeping track of complex notes and feedback and ensuring efficient and accurate progress.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring messaging aligns with Salesforces brand strategy and voice across all platforms.
  • Strategic Thinking: Providing innovative solutions to meet campaign objectives and deliver onstrategy and breakthrough results.
  • Culture Building: Fostering and growing brand design culture through enabling worldclass design.
  • AI Integration: Leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance content creation.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional design experience, ideally at a top creative agency or inhouse for a global brand.
  • Experience in video and content creation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, storytelling, motion design, and animation.
  • Expertise in design software: Figma and Adobe After Effects; strong handle of Google suite.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with AIpowered tools and strategies for creative development, content creation and optimization.

For Californiabased roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $233,200. For Illinoisbased roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.
