Job Description

A Senior Embedded Software Engineer job in Centennial, CO is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace customers. We are seeking a talented Software Engineering professional to join our exciting team with focus on aerospace embedded systems. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in the engineering field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience within the aerospace industry or other highly regulated industry experience.

*This role requires an active Secret or TS Clearance

Job Duties:

· Software requirements decomposition, analysis, definition, and traceability

· Software design and development and lead/conduct design reviews

· Operating System architecture and design development

· Low Level driver development

· Socket Architecture/Programming

Required Qualifications:

· 10+ years software development/integration experience - preferably with aerospace embedded systems

· 3+ years software requirements and design development

· 5+ years Linux OS experience

· Fully proficient in C++ programming including architecture and board support packages

· Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a required

· Requires an active Secret or TS Clearance

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

· Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) standards for space data and information systems.

· Command and Control Message (C2MS) standards

· Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) technologies.

· Pub/Sub Architecture

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $125,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
