As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs. **What you'll do:** + Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes. + Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities. + Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. **Experience you'll need to have:** + 6+ years of experience in software development + 3+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages + 3+ years of experience in SQL databases + 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services + 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices + 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies + 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience **Experience that would be great to have:** + Experience in the financial services industry \#LI-JS1 This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
