This role involves managing and improving a complex Citrix and VMware server infrastructure, as well as supporting a broad range of technologies including Enterprise Windows servers, Active Directory, VMware ESX, and more. You’ll work closely with internal and external technical teams to ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems that support healthcare business lines, such as EPIC, among others. Responsibilities: Develop collaborative partnerships across internal and external technical support teams to maintain and improve the integrity of the Citrix and VMware server infrastructure. Support and build/configure within the Citrix environment. Foster new ideas and concepts and make decisions surrounding complex issues. Work in collaboration with the project management office to create comprehensive statements of work and detailed project plans involving Citrix and VMware technologies. Develop and mentor engineering staff to improve the delivery of information technology services. Assist Infrastructure Manager in evaluating Citrix and VMware technology solutions that will improve the delivery of EPIC and other business-critical applications. Qualifications: 4+ years of advanced technical knowledge and experience managing large Citrix environments. Expertise in installation and configuration of Citrix server farms - experience building and maintaining. Experience with XenApp and XenDesktop. Experience installing applications on Citrix presentation servers. Configuration & management of Citrix user policies and print services. Experience with onsite and offsite disaster recovery planning and support. Experience in Windows Server & Active Directory. Experience working within the cloud. Healthcare industry experience a plus. Compensation is based on years of experience and in relation to the job responsibilities listed, our range is between $90,000 - $115,000.
