Salary: $3700 / Week Amergis Educational Staffing is looking for two passionate and committed Special Education Resource Teachers to become part of our dedicated team. These educators will deliver specialized academic instruction and support to students with disabilities in both inclusive and resource settings. Job Details: + Local Pay: $50-$65/hr *pay depends on caseload, experience, & school district + Travel Package (outside 50 mile radius): $3,200-$4,000/week Qualifications : + Valid California Education Specialist Credential in Mild/Moderate (M/M) or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) + Experience supporting students with diverse disabilities, including learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges + Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation processes + Familiarity with SIRAS or similar IEP management platforms (preferred) + Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Key Responsibilities: + Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs in a resource setting or general education classroom. + Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines. + Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success. + Utilize data to inform instruction and monitor student progress. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the SIRAS IEP system. + Participate in IEP meetings, student study teams, and professional development activities. + Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
