Posting Details Position Information RHS Job Title Student Web Developer Intern Job Description As a Spartan Family Connections (SFC) Family Weekend Student Intern you will help the families of MSU students with Family Weekend questions and assistance needs through phone, email, social media, and in-person interactions. You will be joining a small team that provides support to families through answering general inquiries about the MSU Family Weekend and coordinating connections to community resources. We are looking for team members with strong critical thinking skills and collaboration experience who want to learn and grow in the higher education environment. Pay will start at $15/hr. Typical duties include: Assist professional staff in responding to support requests from families Assist professional staff in executing and evaluating Family Weekend programs and events Answer phones, email, social media, and walk in inquiries Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Be enrolled as a student at Michigan State University (during the academic year) with good academic standing Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Must exhibit positivity and respect in interactions with guests, colleagues, and supervisors from all backgrounds Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging on campus Must be available to work September 12-14 2025 Must be dependable and reliable Preferred Qualifications Excellent decision making and problem-solving abilities Prior campus housing experience Involvement in MSU's campus community Knowledge of MSU's departments and resources Equal Employment Opportunity Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability or protected veteran status.
