  • Conduct user and market research.

Project Management

  • Coordinate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep features on track.

UI/UX Testing

  • Support usability testing of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Document pain points and usability issues from a user’s perspective.
  • Help synthesize findings and recommend design improvement.

QA & Bug Reporting

  • Test new features and document bugs across web and mobile experiences.
  • Reproduce and describe bugs clearly for the development team.
  • Track bug resolution and retest fixes as needed.

Internship Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program and eligible to receive academic credit for the internship.
  • Must be able to commit at least 20–30 hours per week during the internship period.
  • Approval from your academic advisor or internship coordinator confirming credit eligibility.
  • Availability to attend in-person meetings at our office space in SE Portland during core work hours
  • Availability to attend farm visits or customer events to interact with users

Who You Are

  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently or with a team.
  • Strong communicator with attention to detail.
  • Passionate about food systems, small businesses, or community-driven tech.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Notion, Airtable, or customer research tools.
  • Previous internship or class project involving product development or UX design.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience in a mission-driven startup.
  • Exposure to real-world product development cycles from discovery to delivery.
  • Portfolio-worthy projects and leadership opportunities.
