We are looking for an experienced Summer Stage Members & VIP Manager to organize and operate the daily operations of our company’s partnership at Summer Stage. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The Summer Stage Members & VIP Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of and operational effectiveness of multiple concession locations. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan high volume concessions, and has an ability to adapt situationally in a sometimes stressful environment. The candidate must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily operations making decisions elevating the overall guest experience during performances and events.
  • Schedule bar staff according to forecasted attendance within budgeted levels.
  • Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback while delegating and assigning responsibilities to FOH staff.
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
  • Effectively de-escalate and address negative guest interactions to maintain a high level of customer service expectations.
  • Utilize operational systems to maintain proper inventory of beverages and culinary ingredients, placing orders in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests, while operating in an outdoor venue that utilizes heavy machinery.
  • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of equipment.
  • Within an outdoor location, be prepared for weather conditions.
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external clients and sponsorships to achieve expectations.
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role, including standing and walking for long periods of time, ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Noise levels in this work environment can be loud.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in high volume concessions
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Seasonal April 2025 - October 2025

Base salary: $95,000/year

Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
