Surgery Scheduler Job Opening

**Job Summary:**

MCare Agency is seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating surgical procedures, ensuring efficient scheduling, and providing exceptional patient service. This role plays a crucial part in the smooth operation of our surgical department.

**Duties:**

- Schedule surgical procedures accurately and efficiently using medical scheduling systems.

- Coordinate with medical staff, patients, and insurance providers to confirm appointments.

- Maintain detailed records of surgeries, including patient information and procedure details.

- Communicate effectively with patients regarding pre-operative instructions and post-operative follow-ups.

- Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize scheduling and ensure timely patient care.

- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to assist in scheduling appropriate procedures.

- Handle administrative tasks related to surgery scheduling, such as updating patient files and coordinating with other departments.

**Requirements:**

- Experience in medical scheduling, preferably using systems like Dentrix or Eagle soft.

- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of surgical procedures.

- Strong background in patient service and administrative tasks within a healthcare setting.

- Knowledge of ER operations and ability to handle urgent scheduling needs.

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is advantageous.
