The opportunity:

We are looking for a visionary SVP of Integrated Marketing & Creative to take the helm of our brands storytelling engine. We are a market leader in prestige beauty, a household name, and a brand synonymous with an excellent retail experience and a strong mission driven brand. Now, we are looking for the architect who will build our next chapter. If you are ready to oversee a world-class creative team, uplevel our in-store marketing, and orchestrate 360-degree campaigns that capture hearts and drive foot traffic, we want to hear from you.

We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Marketing to serve as the steward of our brands legacy and the architect of its future. You will operate at the intersection of commerce and artistry, leading brand strategy and content to deliver iconic marketing moments. In partnership with the CMO and Sephora Marketing leadership this role will drive growth and brand equity by building competitive differentiation and brand love.

This role will also partner with senior executives within marketing, merchandising, retail and digital store teams to deliver aligned upon growth. This position is a critical role in Sephoras largest market, charged with taking the Sephora brand in the Americas to even greater heights.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in relevant industries
  • A purpose-driven individual, who is personally passionate about Sephoras mission and commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrated success in implementing leading-edge marketing practices across the full marketing portfolio
  • Prior experience creating marketing strategies rooted in culture that appeal to diverse audiences and drive consideration and brand affinity; has a good understanding of the Gen Z and BIPOC populations
  • Experience operating in a data-driven and results-focused environment and has the ability to define, measure, and manage to quantifiable business, customer and financial metrics and goals
  • A gutsy marketer with a track record of taking risks and has a bias towards experimenting quickly and scaling the programs that produce results
  • Demonstrated success executing innovative loyalty and personalization efforts at scale
  • Experience leading large and diverse teams, with a proven ability to hire, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing organization
  • Track record of mentoring strong talent; leads from the front, with deep knowledge of operational details and a willingness to get hands dirty
  • Must be an articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in the ability to positively and creatively influence change and direction within professional environments
