Technical Sales Manager

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our Houston (Pearland) team!

As our Technical Sales Manager you will serve as a key interface between CW Sales, Engineering and customer technical communities, building strong relationships and supporting growth of the thermal spray business in line with strategic plans.

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 + bonus

Your Challenge

• Identifies new market, product, and sales opportunities, working to expand market share with new and existing accounts.
• Provides forecasting for new and potential accounts as required.
• Cultivates strong relationships with both internal and external customers in support of achieving business goals.
• Works closely with customers to establish technical needs and specifications, steering application requirements towards CW technology wherever possible.
• Serves as first line interface with customers for technical discussions, including technology workshops to educate customers and optimize application of CW products.
• Provides market and voice of customer insight to support development of technology roadmaps and innovation projects, ensuring CW and customer technology roadmaps remain aligned.

What You Bring

• In-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold, including technical specifications and applications
• Proven experience in sales, ideally in a technical or engineering environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to work on multiple parallel projects
