Teller
Location: Umatilla, OR
Pay: $18.00

What will you be doing?

• Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, recording night and mail deposits and selling cashier’s checks and traveler’s checks
• Records transactions by logging cashier’s checks, traveler’s checks and other services and preparing currency transaction reports
• Cross-sells bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services and product promotions, ascertaining customers’ needs and directing customers to appropriate branch representatives
• Completes special requests by closing accounts, taking orders for checks, exchanging foreign currencies, providing statements and copies and completing safe deposit box procedures
• Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins, turning in excess cash and currency to head teller and maintaining supply of cash and currency

What do you bring?

• At least 2-3 years of cash handling experience
• Previous banking experience is a plus!
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and good mathematical ability
