\n Job Description \n

\n\t
• Deliver direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions\n\t
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition, medications, and care plans\n\t
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge plans\n\t
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care as prescribed\n\t
• Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions\n\t
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-hospital care\n\t
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies\n

\n Education and Certification Requirements \n\n

\n\t
• Active California RN License (unencumbered)\n\t
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred\n\t
• PALS and ACLS required \n\t
• BLS Certification (AHA required)\n\t
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required \n\t
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)\n
