Per diem eligibility: $2400.00

Weekly Gross: $3200.00

Express Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital located in Waimea, on the beautiful island of Kauai.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in perioperative nursing and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during operations by managing instruments and monitoring patient vitals.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.

Nurse Qualifications:

• Current State of Hawaii RN License
• Minimum 2 year of recent RN acute experience (within the past 24 months/2 years)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Current TB/2-Step TB/Chest X-Ray/QUANTIFERON
• Federal FingerPrint
• N95 Fit Test
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU

Estimated pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours
