Four 10-hour shifts, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM. Call required.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the surgical setting. The position involves participation in various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team to support optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgery.


• Assist with the preparation of the operating room and equipment for surgery.


• Monitor and assess patient conditions during surgical procedures.


• Facilitate communication between the surgical team and patients/families.


• Perform related duties as assigned to ensure efficient surgical operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.


• Prior travel experience preferred; first-time travelers with solid OR experience may be considered.


• Current and active RN license in the state of West Virginia.
