\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (4x12s available by request)
\n• 13-52 week assignments available by request
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Weekend requirement: EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
\n• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays during winter season)
\n• 1:6 patient ratios (may flex up to 1:7)
\n• 24 hours of orientation provided
\n• Required to float within skillset
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Previous charge and precept experience required
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• Must be proficient in Med/Surg care with Rapid Response/Code team experience
\n• Skills required: peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tanks, isolation precautions
\n• Care for patients with scheduled ortho surgeries, spine procedures, fracture repairs, bone infections, and various other surgical procedures
\n• Work with specialized equipment including bladder scanners, hemovacs, external fixators, and IV pumps
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams

\nThis is a private, not-for-profit general acute care teaching hospital with 703 licensed beds serving as the region's only Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients. The facility is a certified stroke center and maintains affiliations with multiple medical schools including Virginia Tech.
