The Guest Service Associate/Valet is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure. Essential functions include maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greeting guests; parking and retrieving vehicles cautiously; assisting guests with bell services and luggage; providing guests with directions, taxi, reservations, and other inquiries; explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures; issuing claim checks and collecting them; completing and maintaining all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt; calculating and collecting revenue when needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical demands include the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and working mostly outdoors in varying weather conditions. The job requires evening and weekend work, with some weekdays, and offers a starting pay of $15-$20 with potential cash tips daily.
