Discover Impactful Work : Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and ambition to join our team as the Vice President of Medical Science & Strategy for Cardiovascular therapeutic area. This role provides a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to our world-class research efforts in the cardiovascular diseases field. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in driving strategic and measurable business outcomes, ensuring our continued growth and industry-leading position. A day in the Life : Develop and implement strategies for significant requests for proposals (RFPs), including regulatory issues, drug class considerations, and protocol development. Engage with clients' senior medical and scientific leadership to address their therapeutic requirements. Support other areas of the company's business activities, such as pro-active client engagement, strategic alliance development, and client governance. Provide therapeutic and developmental expertise to internal teams, including clinical trainings, guidance during clinical trials, and authoring of regulatory documents. Contribute to innovative initiatives based on your specific knowledge and expertise. Education and Experience Certified medical doctor with at least 10 years of experience in cardiovascular clinical development within the pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
