We are actively seeking client-facing sales professionals with a proven successful track record of managing an assigned territory to help identify, develop, and own client relationships. As the world's largest asset manager, BlackRock has product and solution offerings for almost any investor's needs. In this sole practitioner role, you will be directly responsible for representing the entirety of the firm to retail Wirehouse, RIA and Independent advisors using data insights and technology to execute sales. This role may be based in any of our home office locations - Princeton, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco & Atlanta with occasional territory travel.
BlackRock's US Wealth Advisory ("USWA") business manages the firm's relationships with US retail investors and financial advisors. Representing a full suite of strategies from Model Portfolios, iShares ETFs, and mutual funds to Alternatives, SMAs, and sub-advisory relationships. USWAs mandate is to deliver One BlackRock to retail.
BlackRock Wealth Solutions Specialists in US Wealth Advisory are responsible for accelerating the growth of all products and solutions. The scope of their role includes three core elements:
+ Experienced Sales Professionals who have a track record of client engagement, relationship building and business development
+ Goal-oriented and commercially driven candidates focused on reaching and exceeding sales goals
+ Candidates who have excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical abilities and appreciate data analytics to facilitate sales
+ Individuals with a strong passion for the asset management industry and capital markets
+ Embrace technology, data-driven targeted sales leads and the BlackRock selling system to execute virtual client engagements
+ Uncover client needs and deploy the appropriate products, solutions or resources
+ Demonstrate mastery of BlackRock's products, solutions, thought leadership and digital platform
+ Identify and develop relationships with the next generation of largest and fastest growing advisors
+ Build an efficient and thoughtful strategy to maximize engagement and influence
+ Embrace the firm's commitment to the client experience and exceed client contact expectations
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ CFP, CAIA, CIMA or CFA preferred
+ Minimum 3+ years in asset management sales
+ Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong sales, partnership, and organizational skills, including profiling and resource deployment
+ Mastery of virtual engagement technology including Webex and Zoom
+ NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required, willingness to obtain within first few months of employment if candidate does not hold both
