About the Role

Currently hiring for a FULL TIME and LONG TERM opportunity with this manufacturing company in the Salem, NJ area for a warehouse/ forklift operator position. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join the team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our warehouse operations by safely and efficiently operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks, manage inventory, and support shipping and receiving functions. Prior experience operating the forklift is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Use an RF scanner to track and manage inventory.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

What You Bring

• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in environments with allergens (milk, egg, soy, etc.).
• Interest in long-term growth—union membership eligibility after 6 months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
