Job Description

Shift: Monday - Friday, Start time may be anytime between 12:00pm - 10:00pm. If employee selects a particular shift, they must commit to working at least a 4 hour shift.

* Remainder of the week, work as many or few hours as you choose based on available shifts up to 29 hours per week.

• Receiving notifications on your phone via the Shyft app about shifts, work news and events

* P art-time flex employees will be required to work a MINIMUM of 16 hours throughout a 4 week period*

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Picking medical supplies in our bulk area
• Packing medical supplies as needed
• Replenishing products as necessary
• Setting up facility for day shift team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Good written communication skills 
• 1-2 years experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
• Previous warehouse experience desired

• Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
• Adheres to all quality guidelines
• Works under moderate degree of supervision
• Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
• Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Anticipated hourly range: $18.70/hr. - $21.51/hr. (includes shift differential)
