Responsibilities:
· Day-to-day operation of the Wastewater and Sanitary Wastewater Treatment Plant.
· Day-to-day operation of the Energy Building (Boilers, Boiler Feed Water System, Cooling Towers, Brine Cooling Compressor, Air Compressors)
· Day-to-day operation of the Water Treatment Plant and Fire Water Distribution System.
· Monitoring, operation, sampling and analysis of the Wastewater Treatment
· Plant, the Sanitary Treatment Plant, Boilers and Boiler Feed Water system.
· Monitoring and operation of the Icehouse, Refrigeration System and Brine
· Cooling System.
· Monitoring, operation, sampling and analysis of the Water Treatment Plant.
· Monitoring and operation of Cooling Towers, Trane Unit and Air Compressors.
· Monitoring and operation of Fire Water Distribution system and Emergency Generator system.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:
· Must attain B-level SC Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator certification.
· Must attain C-level SC Water Treatment Operator certification and C-level Water Distribution certification
· Must have a thorough understanding of Wastewater Treatment processes.
· Must have a thorough understanding of the operation and maintaining of pumps and compressors.
· Must have a thorough understanding of the operation of boilers and boiler feed water systems.
· Must have a thorough understanding of Ice House and refrigeration equipment.
· Must be able to troubleshoot equipment.
· Must be able to work well with others and maintain safe working practices.
