Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Water Well Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing water well systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural clients. This includes working with pumps, piping, pressure systems, and water treatment components to ensure safe and efficient water delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and service water well pumps, tanks, piping systems, and pressure switches.
Conduct well inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues such as low water pressure, contamination, or mechanical failures.
Perform well drilling support, grouting, and casing installation as required.
Maintain accurate records of services provided, equipment used, and materials installed.
Operate and maintain drilling rigs, hoists, and other heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and respectfully with clients.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
2+ years of experience in water well drilling or pump installation/maintenance (preferred but not required for entry-level roles).
Valid driver’s license
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and lifting heavy equipment (50+ lbs).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
