Job Description

The Web Content Specialist is an extension of the Content Strategy team including the SEO sub-team. This role helps to ensure the findability, standardization, and quality of web content on the companies website, thereby supporting marketing and communication strategies, and ultimately contributing to the company's brand image and customer engagement. Our work directly impacts ability to communicate its value propositions, product offerings and corporate messages to a global audience, thereby driving business growth and customer satisfaction. This will be a hybrid role (3 days onsite 2 days remote) in Austin (Oak Hill) office.

Job Description:

The Web Content Specialist will be responsible for editing various forms of web content across the website to ensure it aligns with ] brand guidelines, SEO standards and marketing objectives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to implement content requirements, optimize web pages for SEO, and improve user experience on the site.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Review and edit newly published web pages each week, including blogs, product and application pages, and corporate information.

• Prepare list of newly published pages for weekly review meeting with UX and SEO teams.

• Collaborate with marketing, UX, SEO and web publishing teams to implement content requirements and ensure consistency.

• Ensure all web content adheres to brand guidelines and style standards.

• Conduct regular content audits and updates to maintain accuracy and relevance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve web content issues with web publishing team and stakeholders as they arise.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

• Experience copywriting and copyediting technical documents.

• Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and the ability to write clearly and concisely.

• The ability to identify and correct errors, and to improve the clarity and flow of text.

• Careful review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Bonus/Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of UX design principles.

• Familiarity with content marketing strategies and tools.

• Experience working in a global, cross-functional team environment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
