As a Web Developer you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to the client's specifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a Web Developer to execute the visual direction of our web presence. This individual will be responsible for the majority of our creative web design work, playing a crucial role in shaping our online brand identity and user experience. This position is full-time, remote, and a 6-week contract.

Due to the nature of this position, all candidates must be able to work direct for any employer without sponsorship.

Candidates must attach/provide examples of web design projects with resume.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites and pages, ensuring responsiveness across multiple devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)

  • Translate complex information into intuitive and engaging visual experiences, creating the creative assets for our web properties

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts

  • Present design rationale and champion creative solutions to stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all web properties

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest web design trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations

  • Contribute significantly to the overall web design strategy of the company

What You'll Need :

  • 5+ years of experience in driving creative web designs, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of substantial projects

  • Strong proficiency in design software such as AEM, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Experience with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

  • Understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices

  • Experience with AEM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge is sufficient; front-end development experience is a plus)

  • Ability to lead independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale

  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
