POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an entry to mid-level candidate for a Junior Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in skilled trades or construction-related roles, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working in an office setting. Candidates must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Bluebeam experience is a plus but not required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers (PMs), including document preparation, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records for project tracking, billing, and reporting.
  • Support PMs with task management and organizational needs to enable focus on high-level project oversight.
  • Shadow PMs to learn project workflows and build a foundation for future growth within the company.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for installation and repair projects, assisting in assembling, coordinating, scheduling, and directing technical staff.
  • Assist in navigating multiple industrial facility job sites.
  • Support construction material measurement and quality control inspections at ground level and at heights using ladders and/or scissor lifts.
  • Assist in loading/unloading and installing piping, fittings, valves, and other materials on project sites.
  • Regularly move heavy construction-related materials and equipment such as compressors and gang boxes.
  • Work with Sales, Design, and Area Manager to establish project objectives and assist in discussions with supervisors and technicians.
  • Help create manpower schedules to ensure timely staffing of projects.
  • Assist with documentation for company records, customer records, the authority having jurisdiction, and other required entities.
  • Participate in pre-submittal, project review, and job cost meetings while maintaining records.
  • Support administrative duties such as completing timesheets, time and material reports, billing, and other reports related to project performance.
  • Travel to projects using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while supporting core values.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Must continuously adhere to Company’s Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Must provide quality customer service.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work alone.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Must interact well with all levels of individuals, internally and externally.
  • Must maintain a positive and professional manner.
  • Must possess the ability to handle change, resolve conflict and solve problems as they arise with minimal direction.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three years in a skilled trades or construction-related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe is required; Bluebeam experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Must be comfortable working in an office environment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as crouching, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a telephone, computer and other office equipment.
