Base pay range $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr Direct message the job poster from LevelUP HCS A leading investment banking and capital markets firm, is seeking a creative, mid-level Associate Video and Content Producer to support our Content Marketing and Multimedia Production Team. The Associate Producer will report into the VP of Video and the Head of Content and will be focused on a wide variety of corporate brand, business unit and messaging projects. The Associate Producer will be responsible for producing a range of content across different formats and styles, including short-form, mid-form and potentially long-form media projects. The Associate Producer will work from our New York City headquarters and is expected to be in-office regularly for shoots and important meetings with key stakeholders. This position is a rolling 6-month contract role. MUST HAVE WORKED WITH A MAJOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION (GLOBAL BANK/INVESTMENT BANK) WITHIN THE PAST 3 YEARS TO BE CONSIDERED. SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS.

THE ROLE

This role requires a strong understanding of video, podcast, A/V and multimedia production, as well as content marketing, and an ability to embrace ambiguity and convert it into certainty. Candidates must display competency in project management, relationship management with both internal and external clients + partners, and have a good handle on working with vendors and out-of-house collaborators to drive production outcomes. We are seeking someone collaborative in nature, thoughtful and decisive in approach, and who is able to thrive in a unique and challenging space. Candidates should possess both hands-on production skills across live-action, as well as post-production workflows – editing, motion graphics and audio post-production. An understanding of the finance and banking industry is a plus, and a proven track record in corporate production, in-studio and the field, is essential. What You'll Do: Working with the VP of Video and the Head of Content, the Producer will support a slate of productions across collective business units – this can range from shortform videos for Equity Research to longer form interview-based projects with Investment Banking, to timely podcast and audiogram formats for our Economists and Strategists, to post-Conference and Event sizzle reels; the range of video and content projects is ever-evolving and we’re always looking to apply new ideas to level-up our output Produce content across multiple formats, including short-form (social media, our owned Jefferies Insights page), mid-form, and potential long-form Manage all stages of production, including pre-production (story concepting, logistics and shoot set-up, pre-interviews), production (virtual, on-site or remote shoots), and post-production (scripting, media management and overseeing editing) Create and manage production schedules, timelines, and SOWs for multiple projects simultaneously. Keep all documentation up-to-date and reported regularly to the VP, Video Manage production crews for domestic and international productions, as well as manage post-production vendors across a range of deliverables Working with the Conferences and Events team, oversee logistics for domestic and international shoots, collaborating with team members to support conference/event success Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during production to keep projects on track Oversee the edit process, working with our in-house editor, to ensure final content is polished, on-brand, and meets project objectives. Provide feedback and revisions (plus the feedback and revisions of all key stakeholders) to editors clearly and concisely and in timely fashion.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Video Production and/or Marketing 4-6+ years of experience in production with work in-studio and in the financial field; experience in domestic and international production is valuable Experience and knowledge of Sony camera systems (FX6, FR7) and an interest in learning to use Tricaster-enabled video production technology. Knowledge of lighting and audio production is valuable An interest and understanding of network broadcast and live production. Proven track record of effectively working on production teams Proven experience in storytelling, content creation + content marketing, with a focus and knowledge of B2B marketing within finance, banking and capital markets industries Understanding of visual storytelling and cinematography and experience with multimedia content creation across a variety of styles, formats and approaches Adaptability to ambiguity and ever-evolving project requirements Patience and flexibility under duress or difficult timelines Knowledge of post-production including motion graphics, editing and audio storytelling; basic editing skills are desirable in the right candidate Strong organization skills and a detail-oriented workstyle Experience and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), Canva, Microsoft 365 and Office Suite Positive and collaborative attitude; a team-player, and someone interested in learning the financial services, banking and capital markets business from the perspective of a Marketer Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Art/Creative and Marketing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at LevelUP HCS by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Associate” roles.
