COMPANY OVERVIEW
Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America's oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities.
Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.
The newly listed company will become North America's leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.

ABOUT THE ROLE \nTo provide Financial Control, Reporting, Analysis, and Oversight for our Cement Operations. Support the regional management structure by providing clear and accurate financial results and analysis to enable the local management to make informed financial decisions and plans, while also ensuring compliance with company and statutory financial guidelines.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n\n
\n\t - Prepare financial and operational reports and analysis to support the business decision making process.
\n\t - Provide advice and counsel to the business unit and executive management on the financial consequences of business decisions.
\n\t - Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and compiling data from all accounting functions necessary for monthly reporting. Coordinate, support and manage the plant budgeting, forecasting, and planning process.
\n\t - Actively participates with corporate finance and other Controllers on initiatives to improve processes, develop new financial system applications, and upgrade existing applications. Provide corporate finance with information necessary to support corporate level analysis and benchmarking initiatives.
\n\t - Direct the development, preparation and maintenance of various financial and operational plans and reports. Develop and implement control systems to ensure compliance with company financial policy and statutory requirements.
\n\t - Educate management and staff on financial processes/policies and the financial impact of business and operational decisions.
\n\t - Focus on cost controlling and reduction initiatives and ensure that unfavorable variances are addressed in a timely manner.
\n\t - Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP. Ensure adherence to SOX, corporate policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
\n\t - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR \n\n
Education: Bachelor's degree
\n\n
Field of Study Preferred: Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
\n
Required Work Experience: 5 years, preferably within the construction/manufacturing industry. Cost accounting experience a plus
\n\n
Licenses Preferred: CPA/CMA/CFA or MBA with emphasis in Finance/Accounting
\n
Required Computer and Software Skills: MS Office is required. SAP, BPC, Oracle/JDE, Google suite strongly preferred
\n
Travel Requirements: 20%, which includes travel to Midlothian, TX one week per month
Additional Requirements: \n\n
\n\t - Strong technical accounting skills.
\n\t - Proven leadership, project management and analytical skills.
\n\t - Financial modeling experience in Excel and in Planning Programs
\n\t - Experience in the cement and aggregate construction materials industries, preferred.
\n\t - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
