Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Write and troubleshoot PLC Coding using RS Logiz and/or Automation Builder
  • Performs the installation, repair, maintenance calibration, and inspection of electrical devices, equipment, and circuits in the plant
  • Receives and analyzes wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to determine electrical needs
  • Repair or replace faulty motors, switches, control panel,s circuit breakers, control devices, batching systems, control instrumentation, and other plant electrical and electronic equipment
  • Plan and perform work on energized circuits
  • Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit install fittings, switches, controls fixtures, and wires
  • Connect all types of electrical equipment for new installations
  • Plan and perform skilled soldering repairs, installation, and calibration of thermocouple and pyrometer controlled systems

 

Minimum skills / qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to do PLC Coding using RS Logiz and/or Automation Builder
  • Journeyman level Electrican experience 
  • Experience in industrial control, lighting, and wiring

 

Preferred skills / qualifications:

  • Allen Bradley and Siemens Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) experience 

Compensation

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is $48.80 an hour. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
