Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and professional Insurance Customer Service Agent to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance products, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for helping clients identify their insurance needs and recommending appropriate coverage, ensuring they are well-protected against various risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Assess clients’ insurance needs and recommend suitable property and casualty insurance policies (homeowners, renters, auto, commercial, etc.).
- Provide quotes, explain policy options, and answer clients’ questions about coverage, terms, and pricing.
- Conduct in-depth policy reviews with clients to ensure adequate coverage and minimize risks.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may affect clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Process policy renewals, claims, and endorsements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist clients with filing claims, following up, and resolving any issues.
- Stay current on all continuing education and licensing requirements as set by the state of Texas.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, adhering to company policies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Customer Service experience, preferably in an insurance agency, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and the claims procedure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in servicing/selling/writing property and casualty insurance products.
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing role.
