Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and professional Insurance Customer Service Agent to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance products, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for helping clients identify their insurance needs and recommending appropriate coverage, ensuring they are well-protected against various risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Assess clients’ insurance needs and recommend suitable property and casualty insurance policies (homeowners, renters, auto, commercial, etc.).
  • Provide quotes, explain policy options, and answer clients’ questions about coverage, terms, and pricing.
  • Conduct in-depth policy reviews with clients to ensure adequate coverage and minimize risks.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may affect clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Process policy renewals, claims, and endorsements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist clients with filing claims, following up, and resolving any issues.
  • Stay current on all continuing education and licensing requirements as set by the state of Texas.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, adhering to company policies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Customer Service experience, preferably in an insurance agency, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and the claims procedure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in servicing/selling/writing property and casualty insurance products.
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role.
