OPPORTUNITY

GeoWealth is a Chicago-based fintech firm that offers an award-winning digital advisory platform, including Turnkey Asset Management Platform (“”) capabilities. We deliver a comprehensive and fully integrated wealth management technology platform to professionals in the financial services industry.

The Investment Solutions Team is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to support the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager in delivering investment insights, portfolio management analytics and execution, and client-facing materials across the firm’s investment platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct portfolio analytics and attribution, including performance, risk, and positioning analysis for proprietary GeoWealth models, third-party models, and custom RIA home office portfolios.
• Assist in portfolio construction, implementation, and rebalancing, working closely with the investment operations team.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on investment managers across asset classes to support due diligence, selection, and ongoing monitoring within multi-asset portfolios.
• Prepare client deliverables, including customized portfolio reviews, investment commentary, and supporting materials for meetings.
• Contribute to the development of Investment Committee content, including research summaries, capital markets outlooks, and portfolio recommendations.
• Help create and refine presentation materials for internal webinars, external events, and custom client marketing collateral.
• Take ownership of cross-functional projects such as asset classification and taxonomy standardization across models, SMAs, and various other instruments and strategies on the platform.
• Partner with the digital product team to inform, test, and iterate on new platform features and functionality that enhance the advisor experience.
• Prepare the CIO and Senior Portfolio Manager for meetings and demos showcasing investment capabilities and tools available on the platform to internal stakeholders, prospects, and clients.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in asset management, portfolio management, due diligence, portfolio analytics
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with superior verbal and written communication skills.
• BA/BS in finance/economics/accounting/management/engineering (or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and some experience in programming and querying languages, for example Python and SQL
• Experience with Morningstar Direct
• CFA Level 2 or 3 Candidate

LOCATION

GeoWealth’s Home Office is located at 444 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 3150, Chicago, IL 60611. Candidates will be expected to maintain a hybrid in-office schedule.

SALARY RANGE

$90,000 – $110,000 + Benefits

This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
