About Us : Intuitive Autonomy is a Bay Area startup specializing in robotic solutions for eldercare. We are developing autonomous robots leveraging cutting-edge technologies in AI, software and hardware to improve the quality of life for the elderly and their caregivers.
Job Summary : We are seeking a talented and motivated MBA intern to help us assess market demand for our new product, identify potential investors, and support the development of an investor pitch deck.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Market research:
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gauge consumer interest in the autonomous robot.
- Primary Research: collect new data directly from consumers through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Secondary Research: analyze existing data from industry reports, academic studies, and market databases.
- Analyze willingness-to-pay data and determine price points for the product.
- Identify key market segments and target demographics for product launch.
2. Venture capital research:
- Identify venture capital firms with a track record of investing in eldercare, robotics, and assistive technologies.
- Analyze potential VCs based on investment stage, portfolio alignment, and geographic focus.
- Compile a detailed list of target VCs and provide recommendations for outreach.
3. Pitch Deck Development:
- Collaborate with founders to create a compelling pitch deck tailored to potential investors.
- Highlight market insights, competitive advantages, financial projections, and the company’s vision.
- Ensure the pitch deck aligns with industry best practices and resonates with target VCs.
Qualifications :
- Current MBA student or recent graduate from a top-tier program.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in market research and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of venture capital and startup ecosystems, particularly in technology and healthcare.
- Proficiency in Google Slides, Google Sheets or similar tools; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Passion for innovation, eldercare solutions, and robotics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in consulting, venture capital, or technology startups.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies, healthcare devices, or related industries.
