Job Description
Job Title: Polisher and BufferJob Description
Join our team as a Polisher and Buffer, where you will begin in the grinding department, utilizing a hand grinder to smooth rough edges and polish metal to a fine finish. This role offers the opportunity to cross-train in basic fabrication, including tasks such as cutting metal to length with a tape measure, operating a brake press, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. You will also assist in various departments like assembly, packaging, and paint as needed.
Responsibilities

Employees receive a $.50 raise after 90 days and an additional raise once hired directly. There is also an opportunity to certify in welding at Anoka Tech.
Work Environment
The work takes place in a large manufacturing facility that is fast-paced and requires physical activity. Employees must be self-motivated and prepared for a non-temperature controlled environment, which can get hot in the summer. The campus is smoke-free.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
